‘Benny Hinn’ (Daniel Robertson) born in Wollongong, he first began spinnin’ on the decks back in 01’, and soon grew into the house party specialist. He debuted at a little venture called Outlet that spawned the birth of house music in the Wollongong region. He was one of the pioneers and founding members of Bustin’  which saw the golden summer in 02’ of the magical beer garden, he created, at the now famous Cooneys.

With a great passion for breaks and even greater for house, he helped recruit the house component of the former house and breaks night Bustin’, forming a tight nit group of some of the best young DJs in the area and hence the Bustin’ Family was born.

His own style consists of all things phat, deep and funky. Whether it's the uplifting sounds, phat chunky baselines, organic instrumentals, catchy vocals or the diversity of his sound, the Hinns music embodies life, love and happiness. With heavy old skool hip-hop and electronica influences and drawing on influences such as Tim Deluxe, Darren Emerson, Liam Howlett (The Prodigy), Mark Farina, Bryan Jones, Mix Master Mike + Qbert + Shortkut (invisible scratch picklz), Shadow, Grand Master Flash, to name a small few, you will be able to hear all these styles adapted into his set with various assortments of ragga accapellas and a little scratching touches to complement.

He has been asked to play at a wide range of events and venues in Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra and Spain. These include Tank, YU, Le Panic, Karma, Friction@Lot33, A Walk in the Park Festival, Bustin’@Cooneys, Bustin’@The Eastern, Beats by the Beach@Beachbar, Salt@The Brewery, The Illawarra, The underground Therapy Parties 1&2, Garden Parties@UOW 04’, 05’, 06’, Sundays@Exit café, Minq Bar.
